About Aaron Altscher

Aaron Altscher grew up in Columbia, Maryland.  He earned a bachelor's degree in business administration and an M.B.A. with a concentration in project management, both at the University of Mary Washington in Fredericksburg, Virginia. A Dean's List student, Altscher maintained a 3.6 grade point average and earned All-Conference, All-State, and All-Region NCAA baseball honors while earning his undergraduate degree. He served as senior captain of the baseball team at Mary Washington and also toured internationally while competing on the USA International Baseball Team.

Aaron was featured on NBC's "The Apprentice" with Donald Trump. He was a guest on the Donnie Deutsch TV show, "The Big Idea". Aaron has hosted the trend-setting news show, The Industry Grind Dailies on www.industrygrind.com and well as co-hosted the business talk show on www.Vibe180.com.  Aaron has also been seen and heard on NBC news4, WBAL radio, 98 Rock, and DC101.

Outside of television, Aaron owns and operates Altscher Consulting, a branding, marketing and sales firm as well as Nedia Investments which buys, builds, and creates popular internet properties. Aaron is a professor of entrepreneurship at Howard Community College and a volunteer business coach. In 2008 he was named outstanding part-time faculty member for the business and computer science division.  Just last week he launched his latest internet property, www.ratemytriathlon.com (a nationwide triathlon directory). In his spare time, he enjoys playing guitar and coaching baseball. An avid fitness enthusiast, he also participates in triathlons.
